What you paid and a record’s indicative value are two different things. MyWaxFolio keeps them separate and shows the source of a value when it is available.
An estimate depends on factors including the pressing and condition. It does not guarantee a resale price. Without reliable information, a record stays “not valued”.

MyWaxFolio is a vinyl record collection app. It brings together your record details, album artwork, wishlist, the stories of your finds and their indicative values.
Open the collection and choose “Save a record”. Enter the album and artist, or start by reading a barcode. Then check the details of your copy: format, year, condition and, if you wish, the price you paid.
No. Scanning reads the barcode; it cannot confirm a pressing on its own. Check the edition details and complete the record page. Catalogue searches and automatic estimates depend on the data and services available.
No. The price paid is separate from the indicative value. A value may be entered manually or come from an available estimate. The pressing, condition and provenance need to be considered. A record with no known value remains not valued.
Not yet. The published version is a local demo: changes stay in the browser you use. Accounts and synchronization are in preparation.
